Friends of the River Valley is pleased to welcome Racquel Welch as the newest member of the Friends’ Board of Directors. Racquel is a lifelong resident of the River Valley and attended local schools. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine. She taught at the Mountain Valley High School for 14 years. Racquel is presently the Mexico Town Manager as well as being the Select Chair of the Town of Peru. She has been involved in many civic programs as an organizer and volunteer including Special Olympics and after-school children’s programs. She brings a wealth of experience and a desire to help our children and their families.
