Friends of the River Valley awarded a grant of $3,000 to offer 45 students free season passes, equipment rentals, and lessons for the ski season. A handful have joined the Ski School and the junior ski patrol apprentice programs. Many recipients ski every weekend, have fun, build confidence, and develop lifelong skills. FRV strives to omit barriers and promote access to children’s opportunities for healthy outlets.
