We love hearing positive feedback from the programs we fund! Crystal Duguay, director at the Western Foothills Regional Program, sent us this update last week 😀
“The horse farm has provided so many positive experiences for our students. They have each developed so much more confidence. At this point several of our students are able to lead the horses with no rope at all. They increase or decrease the horse’s energy by increasing their own. In this way they have learned how to control their emotions. Each of our students have their own favorite horses who they have bonded with. Trust can be challenging for some of our students yet, they have also learned how to trust their favorite horses. Our students are so fortunate to be able to work with Mary Wainwright, Shay Sayer, and the horses at the farm.
I would like to send a huge thank you to Friend’s of River Valley and their sponsors!”
